On Tuesday, January 17th the Geography B was held in the school
gym for the students in grades 4-8. Previous to this day classroom B’s were
held where one person was selected to represent each class. After several rounds
of questions there were three finalists and than a winner and first runner-up.
Our school winner has taken a written test to determine if he qualifies for
the state Geography B.
The Geography B Master was Mr. Tompkins who did a great job organizing the event
for the school. Many adults assisted Mr. Tompkins including Mr. Lufkin, Mrs.
Hall, Mrs. deGroff, Mrs. Groce, Mrs. Ahlholm, Mr. Vail and Mrs. Brewer.
